Introducing REI Engineering

Welcome to our new REI Engineering site! Technology plays a key role in our mission to inspire, educate, and outfit our members for a lifetime of outdoor adventure and stewardship. It’s in our blood and our mission to give back to the outdoor community and would like to do the same with the technical community as well. We have learned much from the community to date and use many of the techniques and tools open to the public and wanted to give back to that community with some of our own stories and software.

We are doing some really interesting and exciting things with regard to technology. We practice DevOps, continuous deployment, micro-services, and cloud computing. We are in various stages of maturity with these along with other areas and plan to provide updates on those journeys here.
